Intel-Assess was founded in 2006 to provide formative assessment solutions that enable educators to use data to drive student achievement. Intel-Assess helps students master key state-defined learning skills by identifying where they do not meet standards and providing information needed for a targeted intervention program.

The Intel-Assess solution includes high quality assessment content and services to serve as the foundation for a district's formative assessment program.

Our History

Technology has promised educators better tools to drive student achievement, however, often the potential of those tools is not fully realized. When initiatives fail to reach their potential, it is often because the district has a tool box and not a solution!

Bookshelves full of unused texts, software, and equipment demonstrate that successful solutions require more than the things you can buy in a box. Solutions require people, processes, and expertise to put those tools to work.
We founded Intel-Assess to help districts develop a complete formative assessment solution that provides data that drives student improvement—a solution built on your existing technology tools, supplemented with our high quality formative assessment content, supported by end-to-end operational services to streamline the program, informing your intervention programs, and coupled with professional development to be sure your team gets the most from the data.

We have years of experience in teaching, developing educational technology, and providing educational consulting. Our founding team most recently collaborated in delivering formative assessment technology and services to over 450 school districts.

Our Mission

The Intel-Assess mission is to become the primary district partner in creating and administering a formative assessment program and integrating it with instruction and intervention through professional development partnerships.

Intel-Assess offers a complete suite of services surrounding the administration of formative assessment, such as printing and distribution and assessment creation, to ensure educators can focus on educating. Intel-Assess will also help districts integrate their assessment program and data with their existing scanning and scoring solutions and data warehouses. Finally, professional development partnerships will assist districts in implementing a successful standards-based instruction-assessment-intervention program.
